World is Flat

Last week, I attended a conference here in the bayarea where Thomas Friedman gave the keynote speech.

He started out saying, "while I am sleeping, the world changed". What he meant was that after 9/11 he was covering all the 9/11 related news and missing the changes happening outside in place like Bangalore & Beijing.

He concluded the talk saying "world is flat" and it's a global economy.

I haven't read his book yet and looking forward to read it,
